ABCD 2nd Doping Control Personnel Training Program debates real sport scenarios
Two players from the same team don’t want to sign the notification form inside de exit tunnel, just off the football pitch and say that they´ll just wait to sign the form when they arrive to the doping control station. What should Chaperone Leaders do in this situation? That is how the first group of Chaperone’s Leaders began the debate on several different scenarios carefully prepared to get them familiar with their future role in in-completion sporting events.
The debate was a good opportunity for the class to understand how important it is to exchange experiences and information if doping control in Brazil is to advance. The Chaperone has a key role in defending the athlete`s dreams and preserving ethics in sport. Nothing is more emotional than learning these values on the sidelines of the field where some of the biggest names in football have played and under the roof of the most important iconic stadium in Brazil, Maracanã.
This is one day, the candidates participating in ABCD`s 2nd Doping Control Personnel Training Program, will never forget.Confira versão em português
